Serenity 2: The Search for Shepard & Wash
using a sun, the crew of Serenity travels back in time to save Book and Wash from their deaths. hilarity ensues when the crew travels too far back and they wait for them to grow up...

If that happened in RL to Alan, I'd hunt down those reavers (if they were reavers that did it) and give them "a stern talking to"... and I mean like River did!

Hilarious!
May have been on the losing side, still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Uh, gang....I got a notion that this just might be a mite more serious than we think. 'Cause the truth is, there are no hijinks. We're absolutely serious. We're very professional, and we never, ever make mistakes.
....
...How do I turn this fuckin' thing off?!
*starts envisioning Serenity 2 gag reel*
Everyone hail

Maybe Blue Sun Corporation is just the future name of Wal*Mart, and China had long-ago acquired it.
Maybe Hands of Blue guys are just descendents of radio disc jockies...their "mission" is to find anyone in the verse strong enough not to bleed to death in horrible agony listening to old Britney Spears ultrasound recordings from the 21st century.
Maybe Inara is really Mal's twin sister...separated at birth to protect them long before the war.
Maybe Jayne is really Wash & Zoe's child from a previous temporal causality loop incursion.

WalMart + Microsoft = Blue Sun.
Alan should be aware of his surroundings should he say that line.
*snort*
"And we've just heard that in the English Channel, a ship carrying red paint has collided with a ship carrying purple paint. It is believed that both crews have been marooned. And now, back to our regular programme." -- The Two Ronnies.
