Hey cool..spidery firsties!
EDIT: I tried to think of something pithy but my brain has locked up from the after 1pm numbness of work.
EDIT AGAIN: ok here's something to think about. If you had $5000 to spend in any single one store - what store would you choose?
Myself, I'm torn. Either Best Buy / FYE or the local gameing store.

If'n I had more time for gaming I'd really love Best Buy bucks. But ideally I'd opt for 5 grand in grocery money. Fun money would be really free with a full pantry.
Question and comment: Why does porn suck so much? My taste for it really has gone bitter in the last few years. You get butt humped on the price of features (50 dollar average) only for something else newer and better to take its place. Kinda like technology. Or you can opt for the compliation path and end up seeing things folks might be curious about but really wouldn't want to see over and over again. And it ain't really something a person can share with family or friends. I might sound a bit puritanical but c'mon, who wants to handle previously viewed pornographic media? And give me a break already. I can understand opting for cheaper production costs. But does anyone really want to see a bunch of tweekers goin' rounds for their weekly habit fundage?

Yeah I know it's not very exciting but at least I can buy lots of stuff that I like all in one place...you know like pretty clothes, pretty shoes, pretty house stuff, pretty jewelry.

NVG: I'd blame the over abundance of folks wanting to make a few quick bucks.
Any yutz with a dv video cam, and Adobe Premiere can edit, make and produce a slick nearly professional quality (well presentation anyway) adult video. Even stepping up to professional level with 2 cams, higher quality software only requires an investment of about $15,000 tops.
So you have tons and tons of people cranking out low quality crap while strangely the price continues to go up and up even with the prevalence of online pron. The things folks will do for a quick buck (yes...buck).

Actually since the ship is officially light a few members some cleaning and refurbishment is in order. I'd love some new carpeting and maybe even some decoration in at least the living room.
On the movie thing, I want to make a movie. Not porn (too lazy to get buff all over again) but definately something fun. Seems the fic I posted elsewhere can be compacted easily.
Out for the day. Off to was everyones clothes. Yay!

$5,000 fun money? Furniture store for sure. I'm way too cheap to buy new furniture. In fact I don't think I have a single piece of new furniture in my apartment. Unless you count TV stand. Which is essentially some boards that they painted black and drilled some holes in for you.
I could go all out on furniture.
Current setup:
Bed - half of the bunk bed me and my brother had when we were kids...eh still functions
Computer Desk - a desk my mom's office was getting rid of
Table - old table from work that they sold a friend of mine for $5 and then he gave it to me when he moved
Chairs - again from my mom's office that they were getting rid of
Dresser - same one since I was a kid
Couch - good will for $50
I'm thinking a $5,000 upgrade could spruce things up a bit, but since all that stuff functions I see no real need for it.

Book store. Collectable, out of print, unique books. And then somehow find a place to put them. I already have 4 7 foot tall bookcases overflowing, and that doesn't count kids books!
And pen/paper role-playing books too.

Start with a craptacular morning and the hot mom drops in to brighten it up. Hey there woman, what's up? Glad you came by. Hugs and kisses to ya.
As for the giggles, yeah, some men truly deserve to be giggled at. Especially the sort that ask what there name is, comment on how spectacular they are, and make false promises of the, well, equipment sort.
To those I point and say, "Ha ha."
So GND calls at midnight saying she broke up with her boyfriend and didn't know what to do. Seeing as she doesn't know him well she was a bit fearful when he showed up again a few minutes later. He got a movie and his stuff from the bathroom and left, crying hysterically as he left. Not sure the reason why he would cry like that. They didn't really understand eachother well. No, literally. His English sucks and her Mexican is crap. They don't hang out much at all. And she pretty much treated him like any other person treats someone they are just messing around with.
Anyhoo, the kids are sick. Mom and BabySis are taking them to see the doc this morning. Gonna take off early again today to install a washer and dryer at the house.
Damn I'm boring.

On another note it's damn frustating when the boss brings in doughnuts to celebrate the Red Sox win last night and you can't have any because youre dieting and eating right. Argh.

I used to have a lot more, but when we moved from Utah to Idaho I cleaned a lot out. However, since we moved to Boise, I've filled up a 5 foot bookcase, 7 or so liquor boxes, and have several precarious piles around the bedroom. And my kids have another 5 foot bookcase of books we've gotten for them. It's the one addiction of mine the wife actually encourages.

Looks like you are all spending you're virtual money well. I would spend it at Dover Saddlery (big surprise) or some such place like Pottery Barn, Restoratio Hardware, Crate & Barrel, etc. I love me some home decor stuff.

Actually I feel less busy at work. Just bored. Reading and revising policy is sooo much fun. As for laundry: two bobybag sized garbage bags went to the wash house yeaterday. Casualties: Ten bucks, half a day of work (oh no
), and two black socks from different pairs.
It is good to have cannon fodder in terms of flirting. Helps keep a person on an even keel. Just be sure to save some for when someone more perspective comes along.
Be back in a sec with a pic or two.
ADD: Pics of GND's horses. She live across the street from my work now.

On the left is Ciavato (Mexican for outlaw I think), the buckskin/paint is her new gelding (his name is Buck which sounds pretty gay so I'm helping find a new name for him), and in the back is Shelby and her baby of which I have no clue what his name is. Just thought I'd share seein' as it is oh so busy here in the office.

Ah, look at the happy horsies. Horse names can be hard to come up with. Mine's name is a bit confusing, but oh well. It's what he came with and it didn't drive me bonkers like 'Red' or some such would've. I like that first name (the spanish one), but show announcers would butcher it.

Edit for a little rant:
To my cities public works department:
Thank you SOOOOO much for allowing the road crews to do whatever the hell it is they do at 3:00 freakin' am. I am tired of getting woken up by flashing lights, big downshifty trucks and what not. I don't care if we don't get those little reflector dots put on the road or the little pictures of the bicycles and arrows showing you which way to go. I'm sorry, but if they don't know which lane is the bike lane...and they're not sure which direction to travel in said lane...they need to stay off the f$%@ing road. Or let natural selection take its course. But 3am? Really? This is why people go postal.

Okay, so BabySis and GND took me to Halloween last night and all I can say is... WOW. A bit disturbed at the naked teenagers getting brutally murdered, but LMAO at the end. Is it a bad thing when everyone looks at you when the lights come on in total disbelief?

Morning folks!
I don't want to make any 'long day' predictions again, but I'm feeling like it should be 1pm by now and it's only 9:40. Ouch.
Lessons I learned this morning: Riding a scooter in a skirt is 1)cold 2) not easy and 3) maybe not a good idea. Skirt is ankle length with no slit, so I could hardly sit on Vinnie and reach the ground. It made for some interesting stop lights. Then there was the wind factor. Let's just say because of the aforementioned issue about reaching the ground, even an ankle length becomes a bit short once it's hiked up enough so you can touch the ground. I don't think anyone got a show, but you never know.

Yup. But there is some who choose to make amends for the scuuyness and try being productive and proactive. Like us; we might be scum but we definately make ourselves useful.
Remake: I watch Rob Zombie movies because the style is incredible, a dialogue decent, and they carry a nonlinear storyline. I could do without the violence but the still moments of his flicks can be unsettling, triumphant, and vindicating all within a few frames. Someday he can be considered a visionary of the style and genre, but for now he is definately an accomplished craftsman that'll keep folks in the seats at his flicks. There are a few fun omage to several influences that are easily picked out but my favorite are some of the frames are classic John Carpenter suspense builders. The ending rocked and no less than three Hollywood tough guys in twisted type cast roles go against MM and lose.
Also, The Mist by Stephen King was the featured trailer before the movie. It is the one story I read from a tore up copy of 12 Past Midnight (I think it was the title), a compilation of King short stories. I really, REALLY can't wait for this one. Seems I got chills reading the story and they were reborn watching the trailer. Check it out.
ADD: Yes, raised skirts distracting. Told ya we were scum.

Ah, that's my experience as well. In bars, too.
What it says is a)older guys don't have the confidence issues of younger ones. b) they are increasing the odds by not worrying if someone is 'out of their league'...they just cast a line and maybe one in 20 takes the bait. c)They have money so they think younger women will be interested etc.
I had this discussion at the horse show. The older men like me...the younger ones, that I like, not so much. Older guy that I was working with tried to convince me that older is better. Well, maybe...but maybe not.

I don't think it's confidence issues. The older guys are left face to face with the grim realization that time is not on their side. They gotta make a move and make one quick before the old ticker gives out. Young guys are still carefree and feel like there's all the time in the world to meet someone. So, there's not need to stick their necks out. Surely a woman is about to fall in their lap any moment now.
Moral of the story is if you want a young guy you need to pretend to be a klutz and fall in their lap.

Speaking as an old guy, who happened to have the perfect woman fall into his lap(took 5 years to notice though) time may not be on our side, but as we regress back to childhood we think we remember our successful teenage years, and dilude ourselves that time hasn't passed.

I disagree. Most of the time when I hear guys being honest we seem to be as forgiving with women's looks as we are with ours. So, if you're sitting there thinking you're not good looking enough you're probably over thinking it.

And age is a number with no relevant meaning (after the age of 18) because what are you attracted to...them or their birth certificate???

I think young guys are waiting for anyone to fall on their laps. The just posture like they are waiting for the hottest but will settle for anything, even the moldy seconds at the bottom of the barrel.
Trust me, you are so very far from that. Guys are just dumb. I'm at the point of just asking anyone for a ride. F it. Not that all women are this way, but it just seems the ones in my town have some disorder that prevents them from being direct and keeps them from persuing (me). It is either the fact that there are so many guys coming throught town they can chose their flavor on a whim and have no desire for the house special or, and it is a viable scenario, I just don't posess that thing that is chase worthy.
Gettin' to the point I wanna just club one over the head (figuratively, although some might need it in all actuality) so's I can drag her off to the cave or somesuch.
Ya know folks, I might just go ahead and start carrying that figurative cinderblock on a rope. Screw it. Tired of waiting to be chased. Seems saying as opposed to the stupid insinuation plaguing this town is the only thing that'll work.
Out for the day. See y'all later.

also speaking as an "older guy", that ain't always the case, in fact, it rarely is. Believe me, this is from a guy who has heard "you're too old" many a time.
But, on a positive note, I don't believe that is something I need concern myself about anymore.

NVG: maybe the ones worth having are waiting for you to do a little 'chasing.'
I'm not a chaser. Never been a chaser. I'm a 'let him know I think he's cute and nice...now the ball is in his court' type.
(but we've all seen where that gets me. A whole lot of nowhere. :haha:)
