OH, MY, JOSS this is exciting news. Made my day. It's 1 30 in the morning and i'm working on this Philosophy essay that's due in the morning, making good progress (ie. I should be done within an hour or so, hopefully, plus i have a HUGE break after so i can nap then) but just still annoyed at the general lateness of me staying up.

This was totally worth it. It's not much, but it's something. A more substantial something than anything we've had in a DAMN long while. Not to mention this comes just after the rumoured sept.07 deadline passed, so yay for reigniting the torch, with some extra gas for good measure.....

Oh god, i hope this works out, because yay.
When i read this, i was astounded to find tears coming to my eyes. And i'm a large-ish, semi-muscular young man, so to get teary-eyed over news about the chance of a movie happening is definitely out there.

Thank you God, and Joss. Not sure, but that "and" might have to be changed to a slash.

I'm babbling like a moonbrain.

Might I suggest we hold off "inundating" Universal with emails at this point asking for clarification. We already have it from Joss and now Alan that the CE dvd is where the hope for a sequel lies. If we're going to get that sequel it will be because the CE dvd sales as well or better than the first one. We all know that means we have to keep promoting the Special Hell out of it. Buy them if you can, if not, well, that would mean it is time for some good ol' fashioned guerilla marketing techniques.

If you write to Universal, thank them for the CE dvd. Tell them how much you like it and how you plan to promote it. Getting all demanding and asking when or if we are getting a sequel, well, I just don't think we are going to get as much mileage out of that effort.

This is good news people. Heck, it's GREAT news! Now we just need to make it a reality. If any fanbase can do it, it's us browncoats. We made history already. Let's do it again! Let's show those other fanbases what it means to be "Browncoats"! Let's get our gorram sequel!
