Misogynistic? Did I miss a memo? Since when does saying someone is ugly, looks like a man and has poor fashion sense misogynistic?

If a male high level diplomat had made the same comments attributed to Ms. Cagen, do you really think his appearance would be the topic of discussion?

If he was ugly enough (granted the bar is lower for men), and/or had that poor of fashion sense? Yes.

So for future reference, in the world of politics, you think style trumps substance or the medium is more important than the message?

Well,"Ms. Cagen", she is a dude, right? I mean, that's the one thing we're all in agreement about, isn't it ?

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

So for future reference you make sweeping statements about other peoples opinions based off of single instances?

Beats me Fred, but being 3 for 3 on that one myself (salvation army chic, was the phrase thrown at me by a friends daughter recently..lol) can I then accuse the detractors of Misogynism myself ?
*looks up the word*
Oh.. wait...

Erk, nevermind - really tho, all humor aside I care more that someone does their job effectively than what they look like, and sometimes in the name of diplomacy one has to do some crazy things.. shrub looked kinda silly in that one (chinese? i think?) outfit, but at least he had the sense to wear it, right ?

I figure if the hungarians ain't offended, it don't matter none - but sure, we're gonna make fun of her, and if she can't handle some of that, then perhaps diplomacy isn't the career for her.

How long can you say she's an idiot for what she said and I'm embarrassed to be represented by her for what she says? After you say that, the fashion statement just requires comment.

Regarding her appearance: No comment.
