I saw BDM in theater, and now have the DVD episodes and one of the BDM versions (all currently loaned out, so I'm not sure which).

What are all the differnt versions, and the differences between them? I was disappointed that the version I got (Maybe CE) didn't have the extended scenes included in a whole version of the film, but at least the exte4nded scenes were present, just seperately.
Which other versions have more cool stuff in them?

There's a good breakdown at http://www.serenitystuff.com/2007/08/10/serenity-collectors-edition-dv

/

re: the deleted scenes - Joss said at release time that the cut shown in cinemas was what he regarded as the "Directors Cut" and that he didn't want to make any changes, and wouldn't be releasing an alternative version.

Universal Said We can't keep them in the stores.
Yes that is true to an extent

Why that's not the case, is thay took the numbers from
the time of the HD-DVD release,

And the normal dvds did not sell that well

what does that mean, you ask?

It was one of the only two films out for the player, at that time.

Right after other films came out for the HD-DVD player, people sold their HD-DVD copy of serenity on ebay.

Besides the first release looked and sounded better

And It's not as compressed.

thay put to much extra stuff on the first disc of the serenity CE
when thay could have put all that on disc two..

It has to manny sound tracks on it. DTS,[2]2.0 tracks etc...

RIPPER Please FOX don.t be a a$$ and sell it to BBC

And yes I bought one!

Just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to get a region 2 version of this... or if the region 1 one actually works on a region 2 player as well (as some do). Thanks!

We may experience some slight turbulence and then explode...

Have not read anything about there being any other regions of Serenity CE except 1 now or in the future.

Don't know anything about Region 1 DVDs playing in Region 2 DVD players. Have you checked your DVD manual. Maybe it says plays 1 and 2.

Know anybody with a region free player? Then you could at least listen to it over there if it ends up not working in your DVD player.
