Thanks guys. I needed a bit of sympathy. My students were revolting today. Literally. For the first time I was actually scared of them a little.
It got so bad that one is now putting in a charge of assault against me. He says I tried to strangle him. I say that I tried to stop a storm-out by getting in front of him and putting my arm out to bar the door which he stormed into and necked himself. I don't think anyone is going to take his abuse seriously but it's really depressing having someone scream that they're going to try to get you fired when all you were trying to do is give them a chance for a better career.
Had to put on an unconcerned facade all afternoon but now I'm home I can go and sob into a pillow a bit. Thanks for the support guys, nice to have an army of browncoats behind me!

All I can say is, hand on heart, I've had days when work was so bad I seriously thought I had no ability to teach and spent that entire night sobbing my heart out. Horrible days happen. I swear it gets better.
