This might have been discussed already, but I finally saw 3:10 this weekend with my son and noticed bdh Alan playing the doctor on the screen, and right at that critical part that plays out the end of his character in the movie. My 12 year old son turns to me and says "Oh no, Not again!" Thought I would share that.

That's what I said to myself when I saw 3:10.

Classic! Thanks for the sharin' of it.
Hope this will not be a career theme for our BDH Mr. Tudyk.

I got in trouble here recently. There was a link to a comic strip with a " Zombie Wash" character. I spilled a punchline from there , and put a up a spoiler for "3:10" in the same message. But I do hope he doesn't get typecast.

Cool tale, sounds like a sharp kid. As far as Alan goes, yep, typecast. Die at climax kind of character.

Well, heck, if the parts are really good (rich and chewy, with some length) that's not necessarily a problem. Beats being nothing but set decoration and surviving.
(Both of which beat not working...heh!)
