Browncoat votes rose by 61 yesterday, 4.28%; Xenite votes fell by 19, 2.81%.
Unfortunately, despite all the fanfare, we didn't get anywhere near any kind of record voting numbers (our record was 2,359; Xena's was 2,803), yesterday, though we did get a pretty healthy total, and, we did reach 410k+ votes.
Now, we shoot for our next big goal, 425,000, which is 14,769 votes away, about 9.938 days at current voting levels.
Further out is half a million, 89,769 votes away, still about 60.409 days out as we are currently voting.
4,348,361 votes have been counted as of 09/21/07. 13,635 were cast yesterday. In order to take ownership of 10% of all votes cast yesterday, we needed to vote 1,364 times, which we exceeded, for only the second time since I've been tallying this stat, by 122 votes! We are up to 9.43415% of all votes ever cast, and climbing.
We're closin' in on that 10% slice of the pie on Rich Labonte's charts! If each of us voting managed to eke out just one more vote per day, it would make a huge difference; we could start catching up on that 10%, not to mention reaching our goal numbers much more quickly.
Our 1000+/day streak is still going strong, at 53 days, beating our previous best-ever streak, but it almost slipped away from us, last Saturday! Just 21 days to beat Xena's all-time record of 73 days. Gotta work on the weekend votes, Browncoats! Just a little more, mebbe vote earlier in the morning, as well as later before bed, and, we can keep our streak going!
Personally, I managed to get 46 consecutive votes in, between about 9:20am Wednesday morning and 6:29am this morning, and, boy, am I tired! Not gonna do that again! Well, not anytime soon...

OK people - let's gird our loins for the weekend, and make sure we keep those 1000+ days rolling on, at least until we own the record :)
I think we need to pick ourselves a significant date (and let's face it - there are many in the 'verse) in a couple of months, and put together some decent publicity across all the various forums and stuff, and aim for that big 3000 votes in a day. Your average voter can usually manage 8 votes in a day - if we aim for getting a bunch of people to vote 4 times a day then we would need 750 people to get 3000 votes. There's gotta be >750 people who are willing to get voting for just one day, even if they don't particularly "believe" in the RLB vote.
