THIS is why I stopped buying comics.

Well, except for Buffy....

They put out so many titles with the same cash-cow characters, they've done EVERYTHING to death, so the have to keep going farther and farther.
Now they're killing heroes- that's the newest trend *yawn*

They did years ago. They were seperated (maybe divorced, I forget) when J. Michael Straczyski started on Amazing Spider-Man years back. So this would be breaking up again.

And killing 'em isn't exactly new, either. Unless your really, really old, I guess.

Not sure if it will be divorce (MJ and Peter have never divorced), but the newest event "One More Day" started w/ Amazing Spider Man #544. A couple of Spidey titles are ending as this event launches and Marvel is promising all sorts of changes to Spidey's world. Seems the first will be the death of Aunt May.

Wow, New Spidey changes sound intriguing. But then again are they bonafide new or that type of new where they did it five years ago and are now rehashing the new?

I got out of Spidey a few years back. At the moment I am an Loneranger & X-Men woman... and yes, Joss's Astonishing X-mens are the best in the franchize. But color me intrigued, I'm always on the lookout for new material to read. might have to see what all the Spidey fuss is about.

I can´t believe it, i mean the guy is sane because of MJ, now they´re taking her away? i heard that they´re going to kill her, i don´t think they would divorce them.
Anyway that is not improving a character is destroying a character.We have seen Peter moan over Gwen Stacy for years (boring) now this??
