I'd like to say that I'm all in favour of UK shindigs. But you lazy americans should get your butts over here, the odd trans-atlantic flight to hang with browncoats aint so bad.

Not whiskey, Rose. It goes down so smooth, with a little bit of sweetness to it (or maltiness, or peatiness, or other flavors, depending on what kind of whiskey it is). Rum is good too, especially the dark stuff.
MsG, they drink around us a lot more now than they did when we were younger, though I do remember my dad getting totally tanked on his 40th birthday. Of course, they have seen me really drunk a lot more often too (actually, dad was giving me really approving/envious looks at the last party while the lovely Deana was doing what she was doing
