Most people think of animation as Saturday morning cartoons or the Simpsons.
I have only seen a few episodes of this style of animation when visiting a friend who watches it on cable. I could not tell you which series we watched, but I remember being impressed with the effects they used.
One of these days I will break down and get cable and probably start watching them and having my favorites.
I just hope they don't get aired on FOX.

Yes, it's called "Anime". And F*x has already butchered some of my favorite anime, which gives me another reason to hate them.
I think the only place they could show When They Cry would be HBO or the like. 'Cause I don't know if you could tell or not, most of the violence is kids killing themselves and/or each other.

Yes. I noticed the Anime I watched was adult oriented. I remember it was late at night when we were watching these programs. No childern up that late.
Like I said I was impressed with this work. It had an excellent storyline and animation, and the effects they used matched the way a good film director would use camera angles and lighting to create an effect to match the mood of the scene.
