LOTR already existed in three books (plus "The Hobbit"). Made lots of sense to do the whole story.

I think I should have kept the comparisons between Serenity and the Prequelogy That Sucked.
And now that you mention it, rodents do like chewing on wires and other vitals of the ships innards. Maybe I should let ShipsCat have a run through.

FloralBonnet was already taken as a screen name,
though AFAIK it's not being used anymore. I tweaked it into what you see now because the temptation to post in the Caption thread was so great I couldn't bear to go away and figure out a good screen name.
