hi, i'm pretty much away til later in the week -
and before i head into the black,
i just wanted to put on record how strong fic-wise the site felt this weekend!!!

i completely indulged myself and read as many as i could
and (perhaps it was just my mood but) the work posted over the weekend was really great!
congrats to all!
i feel like i've been to a convention with many exciting and varied screenings!

Don't downplay your own input to this fic explosion.

There a several exceptional wordsmiths on this site, and some that are still getting their feet wet, much like myself.

I'm a very deliberate writer. Meaning that I second third and four guess myself and as such the story tends to take a looong time to finish. Perfectionist, I think they call it, but that would imply that my finished work is perfection. HAHAHA... nope, not even close.

I've started a Firefly crossover fic. Got the first 8 pages done, but am in the process of 20th guessing myself. So it has stalled. I have the skeleton of the story worked out and tons of background figured out. Just having problems putting flesh on them bones.

Keep at it.
