Hey, the ads are working. Read a post on imdb.com that someone saw the ad on one of the websites and didn't know about the Collector's Edition DVD and ordered it. Then they had to post about it and tell others!

I saw an actual real commercial advertisement on Scifi the other night. It looked pretty good.

Heh. Yeah, took 'em long enough. I am almost convinced they wanted to see what Browncoat word-of-mouth could accomplish, first. Based on the Amazon.com numbers before the ads started turning up, word-of-mouth did pretty gorram well!

Saw an ad during the Tuesday Episode of Eureka on the Sci-Fi channel.
Liked how the DVD box glinted. Is that a word? It was shiny!

We had recorded an episode of "Star Trek: Enterprise" (for my S.O., really!) and I was fast-forwarding through the commercials when I yelled, "Wait, what was that?" I hit Stop and backed up, and sure enough, there was the ad for the Collector's Edition. My S.O. remains unimpressed that I recognized it even at fast-forward speed, but I feel good.

Yep, I caught a blip of BDM as I fast-forwarded through Who Wants to be a Superhero on my DVR.
They're not pushing hard, but they're at least trying.
