I purchased mine at my local Best Buy at noon today. They only had three copies available. Two, after I left. I hope more than two came after me and raised a stink. ;)

*SQUEE*!!!!! OMG! Hi Jade!!!! I've actually been here for years but after the whole Drive debacle I fell off the grid for awhile--it was just too much of a blow and I needed sometime to plot the deaths of those behind the decision...
Everything is goodish--I could complain but at this point--what's the use?
Have you talked to Deb??? She's doing a project with our own Captian Tightpants! For real! It's something about kids and reading--I was too busy being jelouse to really find out about it!

Yeah I felt the blow of the Drive debacle too. Plus I've been recovering from other things too. Pretty recovered now actually. If you need help with that plot, or the ....execution of said plot, let me know.
I'm glad to hear things are mostly going well. If I can improve things for you let me know. 
I too find it easy to find things to complain about, but little reason to do so. I've found in my limited experience that if something isn't satisfying, or is changed into something that isn't satisfying, that complaining about it won't get it changed back. I just look for something new. wait.... what am I talking about? *shakes head*
I've not heard a lick from our Deb, but it's great that she's involved with the kids need to read thing. Maybe she'll join us over here at some point, but she'll need a different name as I think there's already a deb here.
I'm getting ready for Dragon*Con now, really wish you could join me. I've missed our fun. I'm working third shift now. but when I'm at home you should YIM me if you still have that.

I am a newbie--just discovered Firefly and Serenity this spring (during the Jericho cancellation thing.)
I went to pick up a copy of the Collector's Edition DVD at Wal-mart. They said it was an online item only. It made me so mad that I bought it on Amazon instead!

If you are able money wise...buy two. Support our BDM all we can. I bought one from Amazon. Then today one from BEST BUY. They have the comic book with theirs. But i'm sure you guys and gals know that.
