In psychology, there is a mechanism called extinction. If the Xenites don't catch up, soon, it is gonna be hard for them to keep their voters interested, as, there is no reward, no emotional reinforcement, in falling farther and farther behind. Then, the only folks you'll see voting Xena are those who vote casually, without concern for the top slot, who just vote because they like that show... And, the wild-eyed die-hards, who will vote until they drop, hoping for us to slip up.

There has been a push for votes recently, but not from the former organizers of Xena voters. When posted on the normal email lists we used, there were a lot of complaints about asking for votes again. Most of the community are very tired of the tv vote stuff. I imagine this small push will last a few weeks tops, then we'll settle down in to our normal no one cares pace of 5-600 votes a day.
The only reason our votes grew in size earlier this year was for two reasons. Push to 300k and then a try for 3k votes in one day for the birthday of Lucy Lawless. I doubt the community will ever respond seriously to any tv-vote call for votes again.
