Yeah, I'm seeing Adam for Starfury Infinity in October so I'm saving my money for my weeks vacation in London.

I went to my first Starfury convention on my own and (at the risk of sounding corny) fell into the arms of family. I'm not naturally outgoing but I didn't need to be. That was 2 years ago and I've been to plenty more cons since (mainly Starfury ones but several others too) and can honestly say I have never had as much fun (or as much contact with the guests, which is, lets face it, primarily why we go to these things) as I have had at Starfury conventions.
Don't let going on your own be a reason not to book. You won't be alone for long once you get there.
As for tips - you can check out Starfury's website - there's plenty of information there. Were there any specific bits of information you were looking for?

I just graduated high school so I could afford it but hell it's a lot of money... Such a tough decision!!

She's tore up plenty, but she'll fly true
It was the easiest decision I made all year!
You can never be sure how much longer these events will run for. Most of the actors are moving on now and may not be seen in genre specific events, but rather just cattle market signing events which are no fun at all and certainly not worth spending vast sums of money for 2 minutes of face time (if you're lucky) with the person you went to see.
What are you waiting for? I thought the young were supposed to be impulsive!

You can't take the sky from me....
I presume you know Adam Baldwin has cancelled his Dragon Con appearance now - filming schedule conflict apparently ("Chuck", I think the program is called).
He is still an announced guest for Serenity LA - but then it will be much easier for the guests to fit a con in their hometown into their shooting schedules I imagine (since most of them live in LA or so I believe).

I would love to go, but unfortunately $400 is alot of money for me period. I would go the cheaper route, but I would still want the autographs, and etc, so there is no way I can do it. Adam and Jewel are the only ones so far on the list that I want to meet that I haven't ,and it's still alot of money for me for just 2 of them....

Bummer. I thought Starfury's ticket prices were amazingly cheap compared to what we all cheefully handed over to Booster! Whilst I admit that we have the benefit of a strong exchange rate I still feel I'm getting a lot for my money.
