Kel, I'll mention to her that you miss her, but I haven't seen her post here in a while. She posts a fair bit on the 76th page.

You're in a Chinese Opium Dem, Timmy. This is where the sport of Dodgeball was invented in the 15th Century ... by Opium-addicted Chinamen. But back then, the Chinamen threw severed heads at each other, instead of the A.D.A.A.-approved balls we use today.

OK Penguin so why don't you teach??? Were you seduced by the lure of a real paycheck? Tempted by going a whole day without telling someone not to pick their nose? Tantalized by the idea of working in a building not about to be condemned for lack of maintenence? Enticed by the free office supplies and materials( as opposed to providing all the supplies needed to do your job out of your own paycheck)?

LOL- but hey you are missing all the fun...I just designed a song and dance for the rock cycle. The kids are gonna hate it:)

just for the sake of accuracy, I co-habit with the woman of my dreams but we are not actually married nor intend to be (unless I can persuade her for tax reasons lol)

My sister is actually doing a PGCE to turn her degree in Graphics into an ability to teach, think she has a shock coming regarding workloads but there you go.

Also, my mum immediately asked me if I was going to go into teaching when I told her about the remote learning degree course I am going to do but think that is a very bad idea as can cope with tutoring but doubt I'd have the patience for the kids who don't want to be there!

Unrelated news, if you get a chance, watch the film Stranger Than Fiction, I know it'll be blasphemy on these boards but it's my new favourite film.
