Captain Coupi: No I do not have any evidence myself, but it's a charity I don't believe would make this up. I haven't gone to Amazon myself to look it up and find out if it's true either because frankly, I don't want to see it anymore than I need to actually see images of animal abuse on the news (i have a particular image of a cat with an arrow through it's body it carried around for at least three days imbedded into my brain from my local news last week).
If someone else wants to look it up that's fine. Let me know how it turns out. Hopefully they stopped it.

Hey! 2 threads in one - cool!
Dave - thx for the link, interesting interview. The man is just plain laugh out loud funny (though he did sound a might tired). I think maybe the person who was suppose to do the interview was sick and they had to get someone from the mailroom - guy was not exactly a "lit match" if you know what I mean.
And Amazon - sheesh! I had no idea, thx for bringing that to my attention too (other poster). I can't believe they would sell that junk. I really can't believe there's enough of a market for all that junk!
Maybe they're afraid of law suits if they don't? Ok, that's weak, but it just doesn't figure - seems amazingly stupid on their part.

I think he was going for "public radio impartial" rather than "morning show huckster". Feels a little flat I suppose but really we aren't listening for the interviewer we're listening to the interviewee.

Thanks for the interview link, I downloaded it and have yet to listen to it.
I am shocked and appalled that Amazon does that. I checked the Canadian site and yes it is there as well for anyone.
I also just got off of the phone with them and this is what they had to say:
"They have a policy of non-sensor ship," we also talked about adult material and said yes some people do get into that kind of material, (not me) but it is consenting adults buying it and it isn't hurting any one. She said very nicely she would pass my concerns on to the management.

Wow, it's so great that they're not letting a little thing like supporting cruel, barbaric behavior to animals get in the way of a stand against censorship and oh yeah money...maybe I should give them some of mine after all--NOT!!!
