Will no longer go to Amazon if I can help it. I'm very much the animal lover and ever since I found out that they sell and refuse to stop selling, dogfighting and cockfighting videos, I refuse to support them.

It's not a simple disagreement to me though. Animal cruelty is something I'm very passionately against.
Dogfighting and Cockfighting does not feed or clothe anyone. It fills up pockets of greedy, disgusting neanderthals.

...IMO some of the stuff you hear is not true. There was a concerted campaign a year ago that a certain store chain would not support US soldiers and it was all over the Internet. However, it proved to be false. Not to start an argument, but have you researched this as I am a very strong animal lover as well...work in new media and have never heard of this.

It was in a Humane Society magazine my aunt brought over that was given to her by her cousin. They are not stupid. They know they can't believe anything they read, and so do I. But I kind of have to believe the Humane Society is a legit thing. I heard about this over a month ago. Maybe things have changed since then, I don't know. Anyway, what it said was that of about three companies that were doing things like this (not the same things but similar), Amazon was one of the ones that were supposedly unwilling to stop what they were doing.
I'm not judging those who eat meat and wear leather...I'm only passing judgement on cruelty that's absolutely UNNESSESARY.

I agree with you regarding the blood sports but I disagree that Amazon is particularly to blame for their existence. Yes they do sell magazines and videos related to those so called entertainments. They sell a lot of merchandise that supports or condones behaviors I disagree with. Won't stop me from listening to a short interview on their site.

JWA, I'm intersted about this Amazon thing. There are many people here in the UK who would stop using Amazon if it came out that they were selling such rubbish. Do you have any evidence apart from the Humane Society article?

Amazon (in the US at least) does sell game fighting material. Not sure if the UK variety does.

I don't believe they're the cause for it's existence either. But I won't support them as long as they support IT by selling it.
