At a speech today Obama came out swinging....he wants to put more pressure on Pakistan to close the terror camps and sanctuaries, etc etc...otherwise he could see sending in troops to combat terrorists....

Wow..and holy cow! Is he my new hero? Could be!

I'm afraid I have no idea what that is supposed to mean. I put this post up just as the news broke on this "story" about Obama....I can actually almost hear the shrieks and gasps of horror and betrayal reverberating around the cortex of the pseudo-so-enlightened Left in America tonight. why is this news to you Jongsstraw? you have yet to realize that both parties want endless war? they're just fighting about which clique of criminals are calling the shots... and all the while you partisan mental pushovers cheerlead them on like they're doing us this great service(engaging us in perpetual warfare). you even want war so bad that you're willing to hand over our highest office to a blatant socialist like Obama... i mean this is just absurd!

but then.. maybe the liberals will take to foreign nation building and global welfare entanglements better then the so called 'conservatives', since it is firmly in their nature(again, as socialists)

Please repost this using plain English. Use people's names and nix the wittiness. I'm having trouble understanding your point, because it is shrouded in too much of your humor.

First, Obama says we shouldn't have sent in troops to Iraq. Then, he thinks we can talk to thugs pretending to be leaders of M.E. countries. Next, he gets chided by Hillary for being too 'naive'. So, to show the world he's still got his man parts with him, Obama says he'd send troops into about the one country in the M.E. whose President is actually on our side. The one country which happens to have the bomb, along w/ more than a few million in that country who'd love to use that bomb on us.....

If you think about it, the fact that Pakistan's president is supposedly on our side, makes it the perfect place for Bin Laden to hide! If we go in looking for him, we may lose Pakistan as an ally. If we don't, he just might get away(asssuming he is in fact there). Either way we're screwed.

ANTIMASON, you make more "Socialist" leaning statements than anyone else I have seen on this site. Your overall stance on the nature of whats going on in the world is certainly a damn site more socialist than Obama. I truly believe that there is a genuine socialist (maybr even a Marxist / Trotskyist) in there trying to get out, you just cant as yet reconcile your gut instincts with your religious convictions.

Sorry friend...I'm not here to post facts. This is just a single, simple news story of the day, and I found it rather shocking and humorous that Obama would make these statements considering what his positions have been all along...it's up to you to read about the the facts yourself. I try to take these issues that are debated here every day with a grain of salt, tongue in cheek if you will....nothing anyone writes here means diddly-squat in the real world anyway, so why not have some fun with the endless absurdities of all sides to these topics?

You don't really believe that Antimason, do you? You sound like you've given up hope that any politician can do anything right. I have a strong belief that all Americans truly want peace, and peace will come in time. When you're facing an enemy that will never go away, never, never, never (ask Israel} I think you need different tactics than ground troops getting blown up every day to control it and protect all of us. The Democrats, of which Obama is a serious candidate, have played the peace by surrender card at the wrong times in my opinion....it has sounded to me all along like pure politics, plain & simple, with callous dis-regard for the morale of the troops. I have also posted numerous times that I have totally lost faith in Bush, Republicans, and the entire Bush Administration...I have called for Rumsfeld to tried for Treason, and other Republicans too.
You wanna know when I first realized their gross incompetence?....when I sat there watching the Iraqi looting going on right in front of our troops...and that f'ing retard Rumsfeld said...well they're just folks doing what they do! That to me was the biggest blunder of them all, setting the tone for a future atmosphere of choas and criminality there.
