I stand corrected. They are putting on an American accent and not merely 'dropping' their British one.

I saw "The Bionic Woman" and I really liked it. I thought Michelle Ryan was great and was even convinced by her 'American' accent...she is the latest in a line of Brits coming to Hollywood and dropping their accents to play roles in US programs (Hugh Laurie and Mark Addy are two others off the top of my head).
Heh, didn't know she was British. Well there ya go.

Michelle used to be one of the 'Slater' sisters on the BBC soap "EastEnders". She was more recently in the series "Jekyll"...which my DVD set of season one just arrived today and I need to check out.
