I'm sorry, but I disagree with whoever said it was the worst sci-fi original movie.

That would have been the one with Nick Brendon (BUFFY'S Xander). Don't remember the name, but it was about a demon made of fire or something. I adore him, and he is so much better than the material he was given.

So I say we change the rule. I say my power should be our power...

Make your choice. Are you ready to be strong?"--Buffy Summers, May 20, 2003

Absolutely! I agree. Best movie and oh how I loved Jimmy Stewart in that. *sigh* Before Nathan Fillion Jimmy Stewart was my all time favorite actor. And when I think of how Nathan acts, it reminds me a great deal of Mr. Stewart. Same good with the serious and the funny.

Hey, a biography of Mr. DeMille would be good! Who should play him?

Maybe Nathan could play Jimmy Stewart....not sure about ole CB . The actor in the Sci Fi movie did OK.

JS had such a range. He could do low down mean and dirty cowboys (rare but I saw movie where like this and he was great) and he could do the goofiest comedy plus the romantic lead.

Wasn't the clown in Greatest Show on Earth sort of paterned on Emmitt Kelly but with the extremely sad twist at the end?

More trivia...Jimmy Stewart retired as a brigadier general in the Air Force. He was a bomber pilot during WWII in the Army Air Corps. And was from Indiana, Pennsylvania, north of Pittsburgh. When ex was a recruiter in 1989 the battalion headquarters was in Indiana, PA and JS's father's hardware store was an historic site.

If I remember the Zink article on correctly, the author does say that Nathan resembles Jimmy Stewart.

And no, I haven't ever tried out for Jeopardy yet even though it's the only game show I really like. We do have a competition to see who can yell out the answer first though when it comes on.

I was being a little sarcastic, I'm a huge fan of the new BSG. I was skeptical about the new Starbuck at first, but damn! She OWNS that character now! Dirk who?

I do miss that robot monkey-dog, though...

Okay, just checking. There are a few really die-hard fans from the old days that just won't watch the new one, which I just don't understand AT ALL. May we could get a cylon dog? ;-)
