Great article!

I admit that Inara's character really got me to rethink the whole moral issue of prostitution. I've long thought it should be legalized simply to protect the women, and keep them healthy, but for me, the jury's still out on the moral side of it.

One part of me thinks that sex should be reserved, kept special for people in love and committed to each other - that trading sex for money cheapens it - but then part of me keeps going back to: it's just sex. A woman's body is hers to do with what she pleases. So I don't know. I guess I understand where Mal and Inara are both coming from. But I don't know if I'll ever be able to come to a conclusion in my own mind. Still, it's an interesting topic of discussion and dialogue is always a good thing!
