Inevitable: Elements of 2/7 were with 1/7 at LZ XRay for the majority of the action. The rest of 2/7 and part of 2/5 reinforced them during the action and relieved them at withdrawel of the original attacking force. When I was in 2/7 they never talked about that action which was a shame since B Co. 2/7 aquited themselves extreamly well acording to the after action report. (I was in B Co.) All they wanted to talk about was Custer and his damn horse Trigger.
