2 random encounters with the outside world that relate to Firefly (that only fans would appreciate).
I was in a pet store the other day and was looking at the lizards. In the empty tanks, there were signs stating, "Companions Coming Soon". I was SO tempted to take the sign and flee!
My other random brush with Firefly was from a very unexpected source. I downloaded the short film "Batman: Dead End" (an excellent film, I suggest it for everyone). When the movie was over and the credits were rolling, I noticed one of the producer's name was Simon Tams. Not exact, but a big shiny coincidence.
Ok, I was excited by it...

Cool! I wish I had noticed things like that. Anyone else find random FFness around them?

Someone found a 'firefly' toque in the hall outside my workplace and brought it in for me since I bug all of my co-workers about Firefly.

I was at a self-service car wash, and the sign inside the stall read "Have a nice shiny day!"

I had a meeting at work the other day with someone who used the phrases "local color" and "not so much" within 10 minutes of each other. Alas, when I asked him if he was a Firefly fan, he said "not so much" (he hadn't heard of it) :(

The other day I was drinking a bottle of Jones rootbeer and watching some Firefly with my roommate. For those of you who don't know, Jones Soda Co. puts little kind of fortune things on the inside of their bottlecaps. I checked mine, and it said "Your patience will bring you serenity"
I think it's a sign. Possibly from a higher power

I was watching a movie the other day (what it was I'm having trouble remembering) when I noticed a shop in the background of the scene I was watching - The name of the shop: Local Color - First thing I thought of was FF -

I saw a cloud the other day that looked just like Serenity. Made me happy

A few weeks ago I was in los angeles and saw a homeless guy singing and generally entertaining others for change. He was wearing a Firefly shirt (hand to god.) I couldn't help but laugh at the irony.

I was in a car, and I could have sworn a street sign said "Firefly". I did a double-take. It actually said "Eppinger" or some-such thing. That's all I can remember, but I know there's more.
