In the dream I was flipping channels during commercial break while AMC was on(which I actually just quit watching about a month ago out of frustration over the stupid writing--hasn't been on my mind since), and I ended up coming across what looked like an old set on DAYS (which I haven't watched since the late '80s so I don't know if it still exists) of a pier. Suddenly, two people come down the stairs at the side of the screen, a twentysomething-looking guy with longish light brown/dirty blond hair and an older (compared to him) dark-haired woman. It was a second before I realized it was Vincent Kartheiser and Charisma Carpenter. I flipped out, wondering what in the world was going on...was it not DAYS, but ANGEL? Did somebody finally get smart and bring it back? What the hell?!

Anyway, those few minutes of confusion and hope seemed SO unbelievably real that I'm now considering it a nightmare.

Well, at least you didn't have a dream where Dawn beats you up like the one I had.

I think I might be able to top that one (well, maybe not the Dawn beating you up thing). I just had a dream where they had turned Angel into a cartoon. More than a little creepifying. I don't think Angel would lend itself well to a cartoon series.

Maybe it could, you never know. I was terrified that as much as I loved the characters, that I wouldn't connect with them in the comics the way I did with the series. I liked FRAY, but I'm not into comics, so I feared my reaction to the BUFFY characters in comic form. Guess what? I was so wrong!!! I loooove the comics!

The comics don't bother me (I'm a rabid Season Eight fan). But an actual cartoon, like on TV? I dunno. It would seem kinda weird to me.

My thing is that Joss has a bizarre way of making me love things I never did before. Like sci-fi, westerns, musicals, some country-fried music, etc. If Joss were behind it, or at least picked the people in charge, and it was handled according to his vision, I have a feeling I'd end up loving it, too.

I had a serious power nap today, and while I didn't dream of any Angel characters, there was a Buffy reference. And yes, it was a bizarre dream. I was watching ( either live or on t.v.) some weird stage show, something between Hee-Haw and that Garrison Keillor movie, A Prarie Home Companion . During one of the scenes, there was a stage accident, and quite a ruckus ensued. No one was hurt, but as pieces were being put back together, I saw a lady trying to comfort a group of young girls( 7-8ish in age ), apparently in the show. A lady stage hand was asking if all were ok, and I heard one of the girls ask...." I wonder what Buffy would have done ", to her friends, as they all grinned. And that was about it.

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

That is a strange one. Did you happen to watch "The Freshman" earlier in the day or something? I think that might be the episode Xander gave the "What would Buffy do?" speech.

Odd dreams of the sort are fairly common, always have been. And before you ask - no...I'm not on any medication. Maybe I should be ? As for seeing Buffy episodes, nope. I don't have any on DVD, nor do they get replayed here. But the 'W.W.B.D.' saying is what I thought of, after I woke up. Go figure.
