I was just watching the DVD's for the eleventy-eighth time and picked up on something i'd missed all those other times. Thought i'd test you guys and see if you'all noticed.

A shiny new pony to the first person to correctly state where Mal is from?

Not at all, Cal. There are so many small tidbits like that in all the episodes, it's what makes it stand up to so many repeated viewings. There are many things I spot on subsequent viewings that I had not noticed before, or until someone here has mentioned it. Such as that the canned goods River rips the labels off in "Shindig" have the Blue Sun logo on them. And I'm sure there will be something else I notice the next time I watch them too.

You know, this got me to thinking that a trivia game for Firefly would be a lot of fun, especially at Shindigs, or at the movie premiere parties that are being planned.

You could try your hand at that Calhoun.

I knew it off the top of my head...but I didn't see the question early enough to answer in time.

What was Dobsons middle name?

Umm, I am fare sure that his middle name is not mentioned in the episode, or the commentary (could be wrong on that second point, but I don't think so).

His first name, however, is Lawrence.

Jon was going to get an ear, too.

I don't recall anyone mentioning his middle name either so I can't answer it.

But I do have another trivia question. Who can tell me all six subjects Simon has on his encyclopedia?

He had a universal encyclopedia, something about medical science, languages, an atlas of some kind, human history, and anotomical engineering. My set is lent out though, so I'm not really positive.

Since you got that one right (well, almost), KINGOFKOINS, you've earned the right to ask a trivial Firefly question yourself! Come on, hit us

Ok, in Safe, what did River bring Simon, and what did they remind him of?

She brought him Hodge berries which reminded him of the Hodge berrie bush they found on a neighbors property that they mistakenly thought were growing wild.

Indeed. Sorry about the easy question, but I just got up, and I have a debate that I didn't know about in a few hours.
