This stuff looks good. Does anybody know if there's a place where you can get shirts/gear similar to what the characters wear? I'd be interested in getting a Blue Sun corporation logo shirt similar to Jayne's (though I'd best stay away from emotionally unstable young girls with knives if I wear it).

Come to think of it, I'd best stay away from emotionally unstable people with knives regardless of what I'm wearing...

Anyway, if there's anywhere you know that stuff like this can be found. I was assuming it might not be done by a fan on Cafepress since those logos are likely copyrighted images. Any help would be nice; I like to be a "covert" geek and wear stuff that only other like-minded geeks will get...

Here's some Blue Sun shirts, but not exactly like Jayne's.

Oh, beautiful... thank you Teela... with a little bit of tan dye and some luck, I might be able to get one looking pretty close to Jayne's (man, I'm a dork...)

Might get me a mug, too...

I would step over my own mother to get a coat like Mal's.

I seem to remember Browncoat1 bought a coat like Mal's. Am too lazy to look for the particular thread but there was also a link to a retailer.

editted to add: Okay, so I got off my lazy a--. http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=2&t=4223

I assume that Mal's coat was created by the wardrobe department for the show, but it may have been simply a slightly modified western-style duster; possibly a purchased piece with some minor modifications, or if it were constructed for the show it was built from a modified duster pattern.

My question is this: Anybody out there with the clothing design know-how to tell what would have to be changed about a store bought duster to make it as close as possible to Mal's?
