Are there any decently active (like - game posted to at least once daily) RPG's seeking a River Tam or River-like character?

EDIT: Or perhaps Mr.Universe if it's a pre-BDM RPG?
Also willing to play Simon, but River or similar is my preference ;)

Well now, if you're on the lookout for a text-based RPG, I'll be more than happy to advertise. Two high-quality ones I know of are www.bigdamnverse.net and Lost In Serenity, the address located in one of the Firefly Universe's forums. The BDV is closed on River, but Mr. U is open after his player left. Shame, that. She was really good at it...Serenity is open for OC's, however, and there's a wicked ass group of original ships, plus the Heart of Gold.

At Firefly-Aquila, we don't have characters from the series or movie, but its a good and growing community with some very interesting Original Characters. I know that sooner or later we'll be looking for a new Doctor on the Ship Aquila, due to the current Doctor being soon to be departed for school. There are other ships on the board as well, and an open RP bar ((From "Shindig")). The URL is -

our rpg is post-BDM and looking for a Simon and an Inara. We have a cool plot line starting up, and are starting to get back on our feet posting-wise after losing a few characters to real life. so feel free to come and apply. :)
