So far, pretty darn good. It's about a US spy , not real sure from which agency, who gets his pink slip,or burn notice, right during a mission in Nigeria. He makes it out alive, just barely, and ends up in Miami, where his bank accounts are frozen and his credit cards are wiped out. He's forced to take on small time jobs, with the help of his washed out ex-every thing, skirt chasing, drunken buddy ( Bruce Campbell ). An ex girl friend, Fiona, is thrown into the mix, just for fun. She also happens to be an ex IRA operative, among other things. All this while he's trying to find out why he's been fired, and what the Government wants from him. Witty, sexy, funny stuff, and it's got Mr. Campbell!! How awesome is that for summer viewing ? Check it out.

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

It's a pretty good show, so far they have been very entertaining.

But Psych is still my favorite USA show.

Just started watching this on Hulu!

This is the most realistic-seeming spy show since Under Cover (1991)!
Most informative voice-overs I've ever heard.
Gotta watch the episodes again, with notepad in hand!

I heart this show, the fight scenes are golden, it's funny, it's thrilling, it's stylish, it's got Brice Campbell- what's not to love?

And this season it has Number 6 from BSG(Tricia Helfer) See if you can spot her.

BTW Michael Weston is CIA.

Burn Notice also has a Firefly/Serenity connection. Nathan Fillion and Tricia Helfer were set up on a blind date and dated for a while.

But he said he didn't directly work in any agency in the first ep- wouldn't that make him covert ops or something? Surely not just standard CIA...

I thought I had heard that he was CIA in one of the episodes. My mistake then.

If he is, he is covert ops. He knows all the tricks of the "trade".

Can you tell I love the voice overs?

I said this over at the AVClub but I'll repeat here for those that don't feel the need to hunt it down. Burn notice is like The A Team written by smart people. Definitely fun to watch although I'm always thinking how good Adam Baldwin would have been in the Westen role; meaning absolutely no disrespect to Jeffrey Donovan who is also quite good.
