Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves.

Just love the bit where Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman are strolling along Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland... Somewhat off course for Nottingham and Sherwood Forest!

First saw this in a cinema in Newcastle upon Tyne, where the footage was greeted by the sound of 500 Geordies laughing out loud. (And about ten puzzled people saying, "Ey, I didn't know Robin Hood was from round here, did you, like?")

And what about Costner's on and off sorta maybe, accent? I was really glad that he seemed to give up on it fairly early in the film.
"Unlike some other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent."

Time Bandits--Love this movie, but I'm not sure it is considered bad.

Eight legged Freaks--Awesome Show. Laughed hysterically

Tatoo: A Love Story--Saw it on the WB on a Saturday afternoon. Definitely a "b" movie, but I really liked it and couldn't turn away.

My husband and daughter assure me that Chicken Run is horrible, but others tell me that they really like it. I've never watched it, but am tempted. Anyone here have an opinion on that one?

Way too late to be up with the family picnic thing tomorrow. I'm sure I'll enjoy playing "big happy family" for a few hours anyway.

Mike McShane's accent is pretty ropey as Friar Tuck, too.

Liked the treehouses in 'Sherwood Forest', though. They filmed these in Burnham Beeches, just a few miles from where I work. The ancient trees there are so precious that the film company had to build the treehouses without using any nails or anything - everything had to be tied onto the trees.
