Help, lost story

Need help finding a story please, I don't remember the title or author.

Plot:

Mal has lent Simon out to another ship while docked (I want to say at Persephone). Simon is tortured and I want to say locked in a hold without air (though he may have been gassed instead)

I thought I had this saved, and I want to read it again any help would be great!

Could this be Harriet Vane, "A Day of Prayer", at http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1017074/1/. Mal lends Simon out to tend another ship's captain, but Simon gets caught in the middle of a mutiny and murder. Hope this helps.

I agree. I think it is Harriet Vane's. All her work is great, "Day of prayer" sounds right. I haven't reread her stuff recently. But you can't go wrong just reading all her stuff till you find it.
