Fear not the interlude.

Its purpose will be revealed!

Capnrahn, good to have you back.
Teela, don't feel bad or nuthin about that kanda hill scenario, just a weird thing that popped up.
Channain, I am slogged with tax overtime work, but I'll try to respond to your move tonight when I get off work.
Everyone else, continue to make me happy.

Okay, dream-state sequence basically done. But could someone walk in on River? I'd like a reaction sequence. That's all. Teela out.

Attention RPers!

I have finally managed to finish and mail off my little project. Hopefully, you guys should be getting some mail from me(us) by the end of the weekend, or early next week. If for some reason, nothing arrives by next Friday, let me know and I'll try to find out what happened.

Be on the lookout for a small, padded envelope from "Legendary Leatherworks".

Squee--for some reason, my print program dropped your zip code off of your label. Please excuse the non-professionalism of having written it in by hand (I noticed it at the post office).

Hey Maniac - I asked around and it seems the pool game is slowing things down a bit. Much as I'd like to keep going, we probably need to continue the Book/Rowan encounter another time, or another way. Might be good for Book to ruminate on Rowan's dream awhile, maybe catch some shut-eye? I dunno - your call.

FYI: as a refresher: the Song of Solomon used in Rowan's Dream:

Xiang: "Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away. If one were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned."

Rowan: "By night on my bed I sought the one I love; I sought him but did not find him. 'I will rise now,' I said, 'And go about the city. In the streets and in the squares I will seek the one I love.' I sought him but did not find him. The watchmen who go about the city found me; I said 'Have you seen the one I love?'

"Scarcely had I passed by them, when I found the one I love. I held him and would not let him go."

Lyrics: RU:
"Standing firm on this stony ground…The wind blows hard, pulls these clothes around…I harbour all the same worries as most - the temptations to leave or to give up the ghost"

"I wrestle with an outlook on life that shifts between darkness and shadowy light. I struggle with words for fear that they'll hear, but Orpheus sleeps on his back still dead to the world."

Xiang:
"I opened up the pathway of the heart. The flowers died embittered from the start. That night I crossed the bridge of sighs and I surrendered"

"I looked back and glimpsed the outline of a boy. His life of sorrows now collapsing into joy, and tonight the stars are all aligned and I surrender. My mother cries beneath a southern sky and I surrender."

"Recording angels and the poets of the night bring back the trophies of the battles that we fight. Searchlights fill the open skies and I surrender."

"Outrageous cries of love have called me back. Derailed the trains of thought, demolished wayward tracks. You tell me I've no need to wonder why I just surrender."

I think I added this part, but I don't recall.

"I stand too close to see the sleight of hand
How she found this child inside the frightened man
Tonight I'm learning how to fly and I surrender"

I was just thinking about that this evening when I picked up the mail. There was a box that made me think "Maybe that's from Boomer!"

It was something for my cousin....

Okay.

CHANNAIN AND SQUEE- Could you please send me your info again? My other computer had to have some work done on it, so I don't have it any more. This e-mail address should work: teelab@browncoats.com. If not, use lizard80602@earthlink.net.
