Actually, the Operative sword was made from this one.

I acquired that sword about 2 years before shooting for Serenity began. It's actually in the exact state from when I bought it (I tend to leave the protective oil on them so they don't rust).

When they created the Operative's sword, they removed the fabric from the handle, added posts for the leather to twine around, and of course, then the leather. Not to mention they buffed the heck outta them.

Shortly after Serenity started production, my vendor told me that the wholesale supplier ran out of that model, because they were all bought up for the props and of course the Museum Replica line. The lower one is the one they used, and the picture is a bit deceiving, as it is the exact size of the Operatives.

I knew you'd catch it tho.

I am going to selfishly bump this thread, because it's my birthday, I have to work, and I don't want it to disappear in the sea of threads.

Where's Roxy's arsenal when you need it?

You see, what no one has really stated here as of yet is that all the women-folk need do is post a picture of themselves.

What I've learned in my many years is that the female form is a weapon in-and-of iteself, therefore negating the need for plastic and steel.

However it is so great to see each and every Lady on this forum "show us their stuff" in the good and decent way!

Edit: Wow...that sounded "preachier" than I meant it to be...but I'm not changing it...lol

Don't think that's gonna happen on a public and basically PG13 forum, honey, birthday or no

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
A troll's hair is still pointy, even when it's wearing a hat.

Stunning as always, Kitten. I know I can remember a few more, though

Sharp, pointy weapons...

Wiles-y weapons...

Best of both worlds

Now, where's Dano and his River? (and Vera, if he insists...)
