Pretty, pretty, bumbley bee
DM, you always crack me up. (and I wouldn't let a puppy anywhere near my face, either)
I don't have any fuzzy little animals to take pictures of...
But I bet a lot of you wish you knew what I was writing about

Dano!!! Hello my favourite you know what... L, H & H for you Honey!! Geoff... he he he he...
HK... I said it on the 76th but I'll say it again - you are so a red head and yes... you will break hearts - there is only one of you and so many more will pine away for your beauty...
Hobbleit I love Ross Noble too!! Saw him at the Melbourne Comedy Festival a couple of years ago - he is amazing and he usually comes out here for it too!! I think I just missed seeing him recently!
BTF - here here about beer - but I just avoid it all together now - I do, however, like cider...
can't get into photobucket or you'd be inundated with little pics of my eye...

Speaking of fuzzy things...
So today I stayed home sick from work. I know, I know...I played hookie. But I really didn't feel all that well this morning. However, my wife took our puppy to the groomers today, so I needed to pick her up. Here's my fuzzy puppy Chata:

Now with her being shown, I absolutely HAVE to show off her fat-cat brother Max:

Well, since I got all picture happy today, and was feeling so much better than this morning, I felt bad since my wife had to goto work and I gots to stay home and play.
Soooooo, I cooked her some dinner! Turned out pretty good too! Missing is the salad we had as well.

I really shouldn't stay home. I get these silly ideas of pictures and posting.

I should probably look up the stats to back up my claims some days, but there's a reason it's called Foster's Export. The majority of it is sold overseas (the UK is a big buyer, some of the music mags will even advertise gigs that include drink specials of Foster's pints for a mere quid). About the only places in Australia that sell it usually also stock VB and/or XXXX, two beers by which Australian brews should not be judged. Despite me being a non-beer-drinker, I'll still support my local brews (specifically Coopers) over anything else.

My dad always says "Castlemaine XXXX, 'cos the Australians can't spell Piss". So it can't be a very nice beer. and I don't think he means any offence to the Australians.

No offence taken, everyone makes those jokes about XXXX, although they might vary which 4 letter word they use.

Nico, you made a fine point.
Coopers is a damn fine beer. Damn fine. Haven't had a drop of it in a while, but the memoriea are good.
XXXX is a dodgy concoction of the devil.
The only other Aussie drink I can take is Toohey's. I can drink it, but I won't endorse it too much.
Although (getting away from beer specifically here), I've recently acquired a taste for Bundaberg Rum. So long as it's not from a can, it's damn good.

Not to expose my ignorance here, but how much is a quid?
(This would also help me understand the many British movies I enjoy.)
And why do they call it a "quid"?
