I don't know why but it just made me smile so I thought I'd point out that when you Google "HD Universal" you get www.universalHD.com/FIREFLY as one of the four sub-addresses. :)

It's always nice when Firefly or Serenity appears strongly somewhere! :) Like today at a local pizza place the young cashier was shocked to see my husband wearing a Serenity shirt and asked if we "were actually fans?" I had to laugh and then of course I had to let him know about the upcoming Special Edition release!

In case it interests somebody, I just wanted to mention that the background music in the trailer of Firefly at http://www.universalhd.com/Firefly/ is from the soundtrack of a VERY good movie called "Jarhead". The track is called "Listen Up".

I'll always remember seeing the trailers for Jarhead, as it was in rotation at the same time as the SERENITY trailer. I must have seen that a dozen times.

I'll always associate the 'walk through the valley fo death' song to Jarhead, though I don't think that song even made the soundtrack, or the movie.

I hadn't even seen the trailer, been out of the world for a spell. Heh, musn't Joss be doubly-glad now that he shot it in glamourous wide-screen. :)
I haven't seen Jarhead, but I heard it is kinda boring. But I don't remember from who, so maybe that person expected more action from a war movie. Me, I lke the "quiet" war movies, too, like Letters from Iwo Jima.
But now I'ma pick it up and give it a shot. I liked the soundtrack, anyway.

umm....'walk through the valley fo death'?.. I haven't seen the original trailer on tv..then I wasn't even in US and don't remember seening in India!!..it will be great, if you can give some more info about this...it might be present in the soundtrack with a different name!!

Yep, you are right .it is a "quite" war movie..based on accounts of Gulf war veteran Anthony Swofford...about how war affects a soldier , loneliness and boredom while waiting to fight etc.. I don't think they ever show an enemy soldier being killed by gunshots! But some civilian casualty scenes are moving..
