Hello everyone. New here to posting, so I hope I'm asking this question in the correct arena.
Does anyone know if Inara was the designer of Zoe's dress for the funeral in Serenity? Or did Ruth E Carter design it and any other information that might be out there regarding the dress. It's fantastic and I want to make one for myself.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have no idea who designed it, but I do know of one person who made one that looks amazing.

Her name is Eien. If you navigate over to her blog here at fff.net, you'll see she's documented making the dress and can see how she did it.

She is also "EienAi" over at serenitymovie, where other people have posted pictures of her in the dress from last year's DragonCon.

Google the words EienAi, and Zoe funeral dress and you'll get 2 entries. Both should lead you to picks of her in the dress, and others at D*C.
