All you gotta keep thinking to yourself Rose is that it's only temporary. I'm pretty sure there ain't many people that look to waiting tables as a permanent solution to their financial problems. To most, it's just something to tide them over 'til something more intriguing comes along, bringing more stimulating and financially rewarding challenges with it.
Just gotta keep your chin up PR. To paraphrase a certain cap'n:
"You'll pass through this soon enough"
Remember, us Browncoats are behind ya 100%!

Good morning 'ole Browncoat Bar & Grill!
Barkeep...a coke, if you please!
I've started my own job search. My current job is way too stressful. The sad thing is that I've very good at it, but I just can't handle the stress of the constant phone calls ( I take calls from Medicare providers). I need something where I control what I do, not some stupid non-stop phone!

*gets Penguin an ice-cold Coke*
I don't know if I could answer phones all day, man, especially if it was dealing with Medicare people (they always seem to be really cranky). Good luck in your job search endeavors.

Morning, everyone.
Waiting tables isn't bad, as longs as the restaurant you are at is halfway decent. With tips, most people walk with the equivalent of $10-12/hr. I've waited tables, I'va also been a hostess. It's not too bad, and you are already used to working in the evenings. Evenings are when you make decent money, but it can be a hustle.
Penguin, I worked many years ago at the corporate headquarters for Hechinger/Home Quarters/Builder's Square, and I had to wear a headset I took so many calls. I handled calls from over 500 stores at the chain's prime. I totally understand wanting to get away from that.
*hug* to RIMG.

One more thing about waiting tables, and this is in the grand scale of things: There are lots worse things you could be doing for a paycheck. *hugs Rose*

Hi Fly & LA! *hugs to you both*
I think PR called this one...the fortunes of the bar patrons seem to be on a low.
What can we do to turn this around?

I do not much like the way my day is starting.
Caffeine.
