Ok, so I have icons to share, but here's the thing, I save my work as PNG and I know this site doesn't read PNG. So, I put everything up on Livejournal. Now I'm just really confused as to where to post this link. Does it go in the BlueSunRoom? Or somewhere on the boards? Or can I post it at all?

I know I'm making this complicated, but help would be really appreciated. cause the icons are pretty and I wanna share

I would think making a set of "fff.net friendly" icons would be lovely.

Just resave them all as jpegs or bitmaps and you'll be able to post them. Shouldn't be too time consuming, right?

No, not right-clicking, but if you have the file open in something like photoshop or paint and do 'save as' you can change the format.
And you wanna avoid gifs for something like a picture, because they don't display a large range of color. They're great for emotes and you have to use them for animations, but for icons it might take some of the detail out. Bitmaps are always pixely. Jpgs are my friend

Shiny! Unfortunately I don't have the time to convert them as I'm headed out the door, but, I'll post the link here for right now and then I'll come back, convert to JPG and post them here.

There's only 16 icons so far, 15 of the movie, one that pays tribute to Simon's drunk story in Jaynestown, but I'll be making TONS more of the movie since I've barely tapped into my screencaps and Serenity's going to be my layout as soon as I can change it.

Sorry it's taken me so long to convert to JPG and post these (got my LJ pretty much done, it's a serenity theme). I have yet to add to the collection, and there's only a few so far, but I have a nice file of screencaps from the Serenity movie that I plan on making tons more. First ones are the sernity movie (Little bit gratuitous with the Simon Icons but the shots of him from the first scenes looked really good) last on pay tribute to the drunk conversation in Jaynestown. I found the stock photo in my archives and just couldn't help myself.

One big question, does anyone know where I can get large, high quality screencaps of the episodes or movie?. I LOVE making high quality wallpapers and banners like this

Extremely large and high quality caps of the movie can be found at leavemethewhite.com and decent episode caps can be found at still-flying.net. I thought those were basically the only sources. Where did you get the shots for these?

I got these caps at a an LJ site called dj_capslock. They have good caps of the movie (Those that I used were tweaked through CS2 using regulat image editing, textures and a few brushes) and a few of the epis but not the quality I need for my type of WPs
