Hey all,

The local theater might throw a Browncoat party up here in Essex Junction, Vermont *just outside Burlington, VT if there are enough people that would be willing to show up. The owner told me to post up some threads on it and if we feel that we will get a reasonable turn out he'll hold a Serenity screening for us.
let me know what you all think. and i'll proceed if it seems like a good plan

I take it you're shooting for the 23rd? If so, I'd love to join in (I live down by White River Jct), but I'll probably be going to the Boston screening with my crew. If you're gonna do a different date, though.....

Vermont is on their map!

They have 445 members. Don't know how many from Vermont. Looks like a pretty active group.

We have a Shindig every month, in addition to occasional screenings! All the event skinny is on http://www.nebrowncoats.com along with the newsletter. I think we've got a few Vermonters who turn up regularly.

Ahzlon, if this works out for you, I can put out the word on the Yahoo list for them as can't make the Boston screening for whatever reason.

Sounds good to me. Yeah.. It will be past the 23rd date that'd be too quick for the local Theater... but it's a very nice theater to show in.

If you're going to be raising money for Equality Now, you should drop by at http://www.cantstoptheserenity.com
and get on the list of participating cities.
Doesn't matter if it's not on the 23rd, you can still be included. That's a whole 'nother means of promotion in itself.

My understanding is that CSTS encompasses the weekend prior to the 23rd through the weekend after the 23rd.

Which doesn't mean people can't do charity screenings whenever they want, but the big coordinated event has a discrete time period to it.
