I was watching the 4 hour Battlestar Galactica pilot movie and I could not help but notice there was some similarity with our series.
The camera work was similar, you know that patchy move in and out work. The space scenes were also very well done. I am wondering if some of the Firefly production staff worked on Battlestar. I know most of the filming was done here in Vancouver but the post production stuff ?
Any thoughts ?

Yeah - same company - I think there's even a still from the show were you can see Serenity in the background somewhere on this site.
Also - love how you say "our series".

Yeah, "Serenity" can be seen very briefly toward the start of the film. During the first scene in which you meet the Secretary of Education/future President in her office on Caprica, there is a glass ceiling overhead through which you can see air traffic flying by. One of the passing ships, visible for about 4 seconds, is Serenity. :)

Do the job. Get paid. Keep flying.

I just thought of something funny (funny weird, not funny ha ha) - the special effects on the original Battlestar Galactica were make by some of the people who helped make Star Wars - and they ripped them off too. At least Firefly's in good company I suppose.
