No, no, NO!

I've been telling people for YEARS. And will any one listen to me? Hell no!

All along I’ve been saying this. He is a Cab Driver in New Jersey.

Why else would he make New York the main target? Resentful Jersey native that’s why.

Actually, a guy in France ran over a pedestrian with his car because he thought it was Osama. Isn't that just freaking hilarious? The guys lawyer stated that "If my client had run over Osama Bin Laden, he would be 5 million dollars richer!"

Wow tmurrie! A guy in France tried to hurt someone the U.S. doesn't like? If the French courts don't get this guy I'm sure regular French folk will tear him limb from limb for treason.

And just think we liberated France and polls show were more popular in Iran than France. Just think how popular were going to be with Iraq. I'm telling you we gotta stop liberating people America has enough enemies as is.

Ugh double post. I think Europe didn't learn squat in 1940 and Spain just decided to run the rewind button.

As the UK is considered to be part of Europe by many people (not me) I hope you didn't mean to include it.

(Edit - I have reinserted what I originally said because Dyairvatree has responded. However I stand by the edited version (which read: just reread what I wrote and decided it was really stupid - so have deleted it. Sorry.)because I don't want this turned into a political slanging match.)

You know Wren you post an interesting point saying you don't consider yourself a part of Europe. I used to hang out with any number of Europeans and I've been told they don't consider the U.K. Europe. And since then I've come to understand many in the U.K. don't consider themselves a part of Europe I found all this shocking since I allways thought it was.

Anyway as a American I find this interesting and can only say in response that I hope the U.K. makes more Doctor Who in 2005.

But if you wanted to say if most in the U.K. consider themselves a part of Europe or not I'd be interested to know. And are the Austrians and Swiss I know freaks or is it commonly held on the mainland that you aren't Europe? I only ask because I've never left North America and have no clue.

Jeez, I wish more people would do that-- make the world (at least online) a little more peaceable.

As for Osama-- beats me. I gave up trying to figure out what's going to happen next in this whole screwy situation quite sometime ago. I cannot imagine the Bush administration having Mr. Osama effectively squirreled away somewhere for use at the most opportune moment. If they had had him within reach anytime in the last two years I cannot imagine them not pulling him in. To do otherwise would not just be Machiavellian,, it would be stupid.

And as we're discussing this, let's remember there are some very tired troops out there, humping over some very rough ground, doing their damndest to rope this guy in. They're not playing games, you can bet on it. I just hope nobody higher up the chain of command is sending them out on fool's-errands....

Oh, bugger! Now I have to wait for someone to wake up!
