It might be really lame (well, everything pales next to Joss's shows) but it also might not be horrible either...especially since it's from creators/producers of BEAUTY & the BEAST and VERONICA MARS, which I both liked (B&B, sorta) and loved (VM).
Even if it's so pathetically stupid I can't bring myself to watch it, I hope it does well. REALLY well. I even hope BLOOD TIES did well in the ratings, even though looking back, I gave it much more credit than it deserved.
I hope the two shows are so loved by the general audience that it becomes a thing. The kind everybody out there tries to copy, like LOST and FRIENDS.
After all, this could mean a comeback of the genre to mainstream tv, and hopefully, the eventual return of Joss to television as well, which is what we all want.
Hell, I'll even welcome a new show about a teen girl with superpowers.

here's a link. It doesn't look that bad to me. Similar premise, but that's about it from what I can tell. Looks like a straight romantic drama, but without all the depth and metaphors. I could see myself enjoying it...possibly.

I just saw a promo for New Amsterdam (another vampire themed show, I think) after the House season finale. That seems infinitely more interesting than Moonlight so far. But I will still try to give both a chance (provided they don't interfere with my other shows).

*meh* Looks like a cheap knockoff of Forever Knight and Angel, and frankly he doesn't have the prescense that Nick Knight and Angel had. I watched some Angel episodes and a few seasons of Kight, and let me say from the clip, if you take away the vampire aspect, it looks like a boring romantic drama. Shouldn't a vampire have.... what's the word..... gravitas? Angel and Nick had it, when the actors came on screen, I dunno, you felt power in their prescence. All the while I watched that clip I had to remind myself that guy's supposed to be the walking dead.
And the love interest looks boring (and seems to be primped a little like Buffy)
Not interesting and not interested.
I'll just wait for Heroes to return, that reminds me, I have to watch the last episode, I taped it and haven't been able to watch it yet.
