As Enginerd, I generally speak in terms of nominal, with the notion that associated tolerances are just understood, if not expressly implied.

As such, 28°F would have been just fine. ^^

It just cannot start to freeze. Once it does, there's no hope for it. Poor Dew

Nonetheless, I thank you and your attention to detail. ^__^

For Mavourneen (why do i always spell your name "mavourneeD"? is it a subliminal thing? hmmm...) - I have my rockstar windows open now. Does that count as "being outside in the sun"? *snerk*

I made cat macros and played Super Smash Brothers today. I feel so productive.
Sure, day's not done yet. We'll see if anything exciting happens.

Pshaw!
No real rock star would open their windows, unless they were writing a song about opening the windows and needed to experience it so they could "get it right". Fraudulent feline, fie!

(you know I'm joking, right?)

We've been doing yard stuff, and since it's traditional we put in a few plants to be our "garden". I'm basically taking the year off from the commitment of time, money, energy, and emotion that gardens require.
Besides, I need to plot for next year! (oooo... sorry about the pun. They slip out of my hands before I can stop them.)

For your Dew, I'd bend over backward. Only figuratively, however, as literally bending over backward would make unnerving cracking sounds. And screaming.

Lots of screaming.

Oh, so 30°F ±2°F, then? I'll still hug your Dew if need be.

Well I can hardly deny a reasonable request like that!
