My signature doesn't contain a link to anything, but the url above it does. The Browncoat Board which isn't any more official than FFF.net, just different is located at www.serenitymovie.org. Although the current Browncoat Board ( www.serenitymovie.org ) is an extension of the recently shut down UB ( Universal Board ) which was alive and well during the movie production and for a time just past the release of the DVD.

We're right happy to see the both of you. Those coats are a mighty fine fit, as always.

I've a lovely big box of strawberries here. Please partake. Dip them in the sugar bowl. Whatever. Just please put the hulls in the ship's compost.

As to the Mudder's Milk, pay no attention to those who claim it would hurt you. If you're fit to fly with this crew you're up to nearly anything, and a mug or two of this very fine Milk will serve only to prime yer systems!

i tired to register it's all fine till i get to put my email address in it says used by another member.but when i click on log in i'm in,but it wont let me do nothing on the site.and my name catwoman is there with my profile so am i in now??and what does validating mean???

Ok, well my 'how I found the 'verse' story.

It started off I want to say around '05 (I think). I cought the end of a Firefly marathon off of SciFi and was really curious. So when the movie came out on DVD after that I rented it, loved it, but then sort of forgot. Then this year when I was at the rental place again, I dunno why but I was just looking at all of the titles and I saw the movie again... and I had forgotten alot of it so I rented it again and actually ended up watching it 2x in one night while I finished up an art project for class (with and without the commentary). Which in turn led me to buy the Pilot off of iTunes. And the pilot turned into getting all of the eps up to Jaynestown onto my iPod, and then after that I scrounged up some cash and bought the Series DVDs used, plus I picked up the movie soundtrack.... and I think I watched then over and over for like a week straight, feeding my TV addiction as my usual show is on summer hiatus and I was crawling the walls for something good to watch. Then I started googling and I lurked here for a week or so before joining, and now I've bought the graphic novel on e-bay (HUGE comic book fan so yay!), and I'm going to pre-order the Serenity collector's edition DVD too.

In short, it just sort of slowly snowballed into an addiction But yeah, I love this 'verse

I'm trying to decide whether or not I'm going
to fall for the double-dip and get the new
edition with the additional commentaries, etc.
I'm a sucker for commentaries unless the
commentator is excessively air-headed (or
pretending) so I'll probably end up owning it,
but it will most likely be a little while.

Too early for me to be playing here -- mail to
catch up, stuff like that.
