Yay for purchasing "Out in the Black"! Gonna have fun perusing that with D&D coming up this weekend. (First time in about two months. I'm starved for RP!)

Doing research reading-wise. Picked up You Only Live Twice by Ian Flemming and Bravo Two Zero by Andy McNabb for some 76th research.

I'm working on a new fanfic for the 76th and I'd like to be able to write with a little bit of authority. Since I'm a civilian through and through, I need to rely on friends with military backrounds from the 76th and published work. Not an ideal situation, but it's not like all writers write from experience. This fanfic will probably be a bit longer than the last and I've already got one part of it done. The intro is giving me trouble, lots and lots of trouble. Argh.

I prefer writing for my own company, sorry. :)

I don't want to get too involved in putting things down into Battalion history by writing about other companies. That and you run into people unhappy about the way they've been protrayed. I really, really like the character development side of stories and if I don't get to know someone fairly well, I dislike writing about them. I'd hate to get someone wrong.

But a flash and bang at the beginning does sound kinda cool... This story'll be more of a cooperative effort the way it's going. Swissgar's already submitted an Alliance character for me to use. LOL!

No, Kaele, I didn't mean someone outside Charlie should start writing for them.

I just meant we need people who want to be in Charlie to write for them.

And when do we get to see your story.

The stories are some of my favourite parts of the 76th.

I love the way they tie together, forming our history.
