Was just thinking the it would be kinda neet to see him in the film in some sort of camio role. shrug. Random thought of the day.

Might be interesting, so long as he doesn't ask too much for his appearance. He commands a more than fair salary and we don't want to go giving away any of that $35 million we don't have to.

The guy who played the "operator" in the "Enter the Matrix" PC game. . .cannae remember his name right now. . .has said in interviews that Mr. Fishburne's self-image is such that he'd probably demand a sizeable fee for even a quick walk-on role. . .if his ego could HANDLE something as small as a walk-on cameo.
He's never been represented as the kind of guy who would say one morning, "Hey honey. . .why don't you see if your director will let me put on a costume and show up in your movie for a sec? It'd be fun and you KNOW how much I love watching you work."

GT: "Honey, Joss was thinking it might be kind of fun and help the film if you did a cameo. You know, for free."
LF: "What! Woman are you nuts!?!"
GT: "Remember that sex we were planning to have, ever again?"
Seriously, I seem to remember hearing about a ridiculous short film he did that made fun of his own movie persona, though I can't seem to recall the title. If it really was him in the movie I'm thinking of, maybe he'd be game for some wacky cameo fun. Hopefully as someone who got taken down by Zoe.

Do you mean to tell me that Lawrence Fishburne calls our Gina Torres "sweetie"? I had no idea.

They's be married. Who knows what pet names get tossed about?
And just to correct myself - it wasn't Lawrence Fishburne in the film I was told about it. It was Samuel L. Jackson. It's called "The Comeback" and apparently it's funny as hell.

Hey... do you all remember a show called Peewee's Playhouse? Now if he could do that I'd think he could have some fun and do a bit with his wife, the lovely Gina Torres, on Firefly.

I think it's only fair. She made an appearance in HIS film. It's the least he could do to repay the favor...

Thanks for the links.
There are some cool Firefly pictures of Gina at her website (under Gallery). Nothing we haven't seen before, but it is always nice to see more Firefly.
