Thank you everyone for the hugs and kisses (although I appreciate the ladies' kisses more! )

I went out to mow my yard yesterday to find that someone had broken into my shed and taken EVERYTHING, including my 1 year old Craftsman 42" riding lawn tractor! I was devastated. The police came by, including a fingerprint guy. The only amusing thing is that the lawn tractor is considered a motor vehicle, so it rates a higher priority with the police.

Penguin, I'm sorry to hear about the crappy day. Hugs and snuggles and kisses to you!

This might make you feel a tad better.

After my dad passed, and my mom came to live with me, the house and dads workshop/tool barn were vacant. One night, some ( insert vile Chinese cuss words here) broke into both the house and the shop. Antique jewelry, my rifle, shotgun, pistols,1/2 used perfume bottles, most of dads tools ( he was a cabinet maker, so there were tons), chainsaws, air compressor, battery charger, push mower and tractor- all gone. Insurance covered it.

The kicker is, the tractor had flat tires and a dead battery. They had to fill the tires and jump start the battery- then they drove out of the shop.

Insurance will cover it and no one got hurt. A non- hurted Penguin is the most important thing!

Hope they catch the B*stards.

In a month or two after the insurance sorts it out, it won't feel as bad as it does now. Take all the hugs that you are given and remember all these people who are here for you.

Still trying to get over the Grand Theft Lawnmower thing.
