it's a new SciFi Channel tv movie currently in post production.

Plot: In 1923 legendary film director Cecil B. DeMille finished the epic film "The Ten Commandments". After filming was completed, he bulldozed the sets into the Guadalupe Sand Dunes of the central California coast. Hi reasons for doing so were very mysterious. This story gives an explanation as to why he did it. There was actually a legitimate Egyptian artifact amongst the props but they didn't know which one was trapping the spirit of an Egyptian avenging god. Mysterious murders and accidents while making the film brings things back to the surface today and it starts all over again.

That actually sounds like a cool movie. Not only for the FIREFLY actors in there, but just the story in general. I love movies about moviemaking, especially if it's films from the very early years when the medium was still in it's infancy. And from Sci-Fi no less. I know their miniseries are always cool, but their films are usually variations of MANSQUITO.

Oddly enough, this reminds me of THE AVIATOR. In the first part of the movie with the making of HELL'S ANGELS, the character of Odie, the engineer that worked with Howard in re-designing a brand new plane, reminded me a lot of Wash. Same personality and physical characteristics. Even though the guy that played him did a great job, it would have been just the icing on the cake to know that one of our cast ended up in a Martin Scorsese picture. Only Adam's work in FULL METAL JACKET with Stanley Kubrick would have topped that.
